So that users can have the best possibly experience and education on this forum I have created some rules/guides so that there is some order to the forum.

If you are a vendor or advertiser or even wish for a system/course or website to be reviewed then please contact me via PM.

Rules Of The Forum

1. NO ADVERTISING
It is not permitted to use the forum for advertising. Vendors may not start topics about their own systems / IB services. We DO encourage vendors to come here to offer support and answer users question however. If you are a vendor and you do not see a topic for your system come and chat with me and i will see about starting a new topic for you.

2. VENDORS PARTICIPATING IN TOPICS STILL CANNOT ADVERTISE
If you are a vendor then it's great that you are here to support your clients but please do not add posts to your topic which are advertisements. Simple announcements are allowed, eg "new version released" but soliciting to buy is not allowed , eg no "new version is released, here are all the reasons why you should buy it, and you need to go to x page right now and get it before its too late". Bumping your topic to get it to the top of the list is not allowed. Neither is soliciting via private message. If users see any of these activities they are encouraged to please report it to moderators.

3. BE NICE
This means no swearing and it also means not purposely winding people up or picking a fight, or being outright mean and nasty or threatening/harassing other members. I understand this is a bit of a grey area and it takes some judgement on our part as moderators, but if we think you are crossing the line we will drop you a message to discuss this before considering further action.

4. NO NEED TO BE SO NICE IN THE SITUATION ROOM
If you have the need to engage in ferocious debate about something, please post it in the "SITUATION ROOM" section of the forum, which is not so heavily controlled and it is permitted to debate heavily (aka 'fight').

5. NO FRAUD
By fraud i mean a vendor posing as a customer. This also includes any kind of false posting such as when a vendor offers payment to users in order to post positive messages on the forum.

6. NO ILLEGAL COPIES
This is not a file sharing site and we do not allow pirated copies of any software. If you see any on the forum please report it. This also includes the sharing of illegal copies of material via personal message.

7. SIGNATURE LINES
Should not contain heavy advertising. If you own a website you may put a single link in your signature. Signatures should not be loaded down with advertisements and tag lines such as "go here to buy the best system ever". Signature lines are not allowed to contain offensive material or links to offensive material (eg pornography, religious extremist material, etc).

8. PROFILES
No advertising in profiles apart from a single link (see 7. above). Offensive photos/images are not allowed in your profile. Please be careful about showing your email address through your profile, there are automated robots which scour forums looking for these email addresses to add to spam lists; it is preferable to instead send a give out email addresses via private messaging if you wish to (private messages get delivered to the user via email anyway so they will get the message even if they don't log in to the forum).

10. QUOTING OTHER SITES
If you use extensive material (PDF documents, systems, copies of whole website pages etc) taken from elsewhere on the internet it is important that you seek the owner's permission before reposting it here.

11. LINKS & EMAIL ADDRESSES.
Links are allowed in posts as long as you abide by the other rules, most notably those relating to advertising. Affiliate links are NOT allowed.
Cloaked (hidden) affiliate links in images or behind other URL's will be punished by immediate ban with no warning.

12. NEW MEMBERS
New members with less than 10 posts are not permitted to start topics relating to commercial (paid for) systems or new topics referring forum members to another site. This is to prevent vendors marketing under the disguise of being a customer.
